Performance Testing & Compliance
At The Treating Plant, we follow strict quality control measures to ensure every board meets industry standards for safety, performance, and longevity. Our process includes routine bore testing, where samples are taken from treated lumber to verify proper chemical penetration and retention. This ensures the treatment has fully reached the core of the wood, providing lasting protection against rot, decay, and pests.
In addition, we perform regular chemical sampling, with lab analysis to confirm the correct preservative levels are present across each batch. These steps are vital to meeting AWPA and EPA standards, and they help us guarantee consistent, code-compliant results for every order.
Safety, accuracy, and accountability are built into every piece we treat—so you can build with total confidence.
